Growing up in Kenya, I watched my grandmother slowly decline from dementia. I remember a woman who once cared for her home with strength and pride, and I found myself asking, What happened? Is there a better way to care for our elders? That question became my calling.

For more than 16 years, I have had the privilege of serving in nearly every area of nursing, from the ICU to hospice and caring for people in their homes. Through it all, my heart has always been drawn to geriatrics. I show up with the same love that I gave to my grandmother that I cared for until she went to heaven.

I have seen firsthand how overwhelming aging can become for older adults and their families when they are left to navigate complex healthcare decisions, changing needs, and unfamiliar senior living options on their own. I founded ElderBridge Consulting to help families bridge that gap with trusted nursing guidance, advocacy, resources, and a clear plan for what comes next.

Whether the goal is to remain safely at home, explore supportive services, navigate a healthcare challenge, or transition to a senior living community, we walk alongside families through the decisions that matter most.

 In my culture, elders are honored as keepers of wisdom, and caring for them is a privilege. I believe aging should be a season filled with connection, dignity, and joy guided by the individual, not defined by a diagnosis.

My mission is to help older adults design the future they want, age safely and confidently, and make informed decisions while giving their families something equally valuable: peace of mind.

To me, exceptional care is not simply about responding to what happens next. It is about creating a thoughtful bridge between where you are and where you want to go.
